Join us for the 2nd Annual NEWi Awards to celebrate the best online talent, Tuesday 25th September.
The awards program has six main categories: Best Website; Best Online Publication; Best Online Creative Content, which includes images, animation, games, video and more; Best Mobile Application; Best Blogger; and Digital Citizen of the Year called The Joe Award.
Roughly 100 members vote for the NEWi Awards using secret ballots. Members select winners from as many as six nominees in each category, which are determined by members of the Lunaticks Society management committee.
For the first time, the NEWi Awards is the opening event for Newcastle’s largest cultural festival of the year; the This is Not Art Festival (TiNA).
